Role: Mechanical Engineering Program Manager and Architect, Mechanical Design (on new module development), Manufacturing Lead, more discreetly ID (for a few generations of Camera, Button, SD Card) and Icon Design.
Since the early days of Nascent Objects to this days at Facebook, I have coordinated all of the aspects of the development of the Mechanical Engineering of our electronic modular blocks. My role evolved from doing the prototyping of the very early modules during the first few months, to coordinating the efforts in doing detailed design for those modules working with our partners at Alloy and Ammunition. For most of our latest programs and new module development, I have personally done the detailed CAD and mechanical design of our modules.
